We kindly invite you to become a co-author in our new book on Cities for All, A Place Where Everyone Feels At Home.
Through our work in Dutch cities as well as across the border we have learned inclusivity is of great importance in the current stream of urban developments. Within the European context we recently initiated a larger conversation about this topic during the “Cities for All” conference in Stockholm. During this three-day event several sessions were hosted by members of the European Placemaking Network on gentrification, inclusion and segregation, new financial structures and on gentrification in big and small cities amongst many others.
The information sharing that took place in Stockholm during those sessions, but also your knowledge as an expert in the city-making realm, provides valuable insights into processes taking place all over Europe by allowing us to learn from each other – thus bringing forth new knowledge for this book.
The main purpose of the book is to influence the debate and collectively learn as well as propose practical alternatives and approaches that show how we truly can make places where everyone feels at home.
