Hans Karssenberg is a founding partner of STIPO, team for urban strategy and development. He advises cities, housing providers, developers and NGOs in the Netherlands and internationally. Hans works on complex urban (re)development, placemaking and co-creation processes and was the project manager for the Rotterdam Plinth Strategy. Hans is editor and co-curator of the “The City at Eye Level” series, with latest edition “The City at Eye Level in the Netherlands”. Linkedin
Jeroen Laven is a partner at STIPO. He was the project manager for the three plinth pilots Stipo worked on in Rotterdam and the public developer of ZOHO Rotterdam. He is an urban planner, working on diverse projects in the Netherlands and abroad. In addition he is a board member of Inspiring Cities and the Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam. Sander van der Ham works as an urban psychologist for STIPO, exploring the reciprocal relationship between humans and the environment. Behaviour, thoughts and feelings of each person are affected by his environment, and vice versa. He explores this theme in great detail in his recently published book (in Dutch) “De Stoep” and is co-curator of the “The City at Eye Level in the Netherlands”. Linkedin
Siënna Veelders is an heritage professional, graduated at the Reinwardt Academy, Amsterdam. She is specialised in heritage and placemaking. With a love for Asian she worked in Hong Kong & Myanmar and joined STIPO, beginning as an intern, in 2016. She hosts The City at Eye Level Masterclasses and trainings, launching the The City at Eye Level Asia network and co-curated “The City at Eye Level in the Netherlands”. Linkedin
Mattijs van ‘t Hoff is an urbanist, graduated at the Delft University of Technology. He has worked for the planning and development department of the municipality of Rotterdam on various projects in urban design and neighborhood transformation. Vivian Doumpa is an urban planner and geographer from Thessaloniki, Greece. Currently she’s working for STIPO Thessaloniki, collaborating on projects in culture and creativity, public space & placemaking, urban & spatial development, as well as research on issues related to street performers.
